Robert Dean Hamilton

Robert Dean Hamilton, age 81, of Benton, passed away Thursday, April 21, 2016. He was born in Columbus, Ark. on November 22, 1934 to the late Alvin and Ruth Hamilton. He was a veteran of the Army National Guard. He retired from ABF as a truck driver and was a member of Local Teamsters 878. Mr. Hamilton was also a member of Geyer Springs Baptist Church in Little Rock. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Billie Joyce (Boyett) Hamilton. Survivors include his son, David Hamilton and wife Vickie of Cordova, Tenn.; his grandson, Garrett Hamilton and wife Jennifer of Nashville, Tenn.; his niece, Lindell Taylor and husband Tommy of Alexander; two brothers, Don Hamilton and Dick Hamilton and wife Jo, all of Hope, Ark.; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday, April 25, 2016 in the chapel of Roller-Ballard Funeral Home in Benton (501-315-4047) with Bro. John Owen officiating.
