Mary Lou Grimmett

MARY LOU MAXEY GRIMMETT, 83, of Little Rock, died April 23, 2016. Born March 26, 1933 in Texarkana, Texas, she was the daughter of J.C. and Rachel Barnett Orr. She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed Elvis, dancing and bowling. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Bill and Pyron; and two sisters, Nellie and Sarah. Survivors are two daughters, Dee Haislip (Hal) and Pam Wooldridge; and a son, Tony Maxey (Tina), all of Little Rock; a sister, Julia Anthony of Texarkana, Ark.; a brother, Calvin Dean of Quinlan, Texas; five grandchildren: Christopher, Nicole, Jacob, Rachel and Aimee-Rose; and four great-grandchildren: Kaylee, Lorelei, Mahala and Malaki. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Wednesday in the chapel of Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth, 5800 W. 12th Street, Little Rock, (501) 661-9111 with Rev. Kenneth Anthony officiating.
