James Everette Ball

James Everette Ball, 86, of Sherwood passed away Monday, April 25, 2016. He was born November 15, 1929 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Preston Brooks and Ima Mary Avery Ball. James was a member of Pilgrims Rest Missionary Baptist Church. He was retired after 35 years from Southwestern Bell Telephone as a line man/repairman. James was also a member of Telephone Pioneers. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Vera Grace Ball; daughter, Connie Lynn Smith; and three brothers. He is survived by his daughters, Kathie Ball, Judie Ball, Elisa "Lisa" Brady (Tommy); four granddaughters; two great-grandsons; four great-granddaughters; three brothers; one sister; and many nieces, nephew and extended family. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home. Entombment will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum.
