Essie Lee Matthews, 83, of North Little Rock, died Thursday, April 21. Survivors are her children, Ophelia Avery (Manual Gomez Avery Sr.), Carolyn Lewis, Susie Matthews, Brenda Jones, Faye Annette Matthews and Alford Dwayne Matthews.
