Ruth Fish Hollingsworth Dunaway, age 94, passed away April 27, 2016. She was born in Star City, Ark., daughter of Will and Eula Fish. She graduated from Star City High School and attended Arkansas A&M College, now University of Arkansas at Monticello. She lived in Little Rock since 1940 and except for seven years, has been an active member of First Baptist Church, Little Rock, Ark. She had been a resident of Parkway Village in Little Rock since 1983. She was predeceased by her first husband, Herb Hollingsworth, her second husband, Dr. Forrest Dunaway, her sister, Mildred Dishongh, and her brother, William Fish. She is survived by her step-children, Forrest Eugene Dunaway, Jr. of Mountain View, Ark., Mrs. Rosemary (Paul) Trible of Newport News, Va.; her sisters, Gwen Haygood of Lowell, Ark., Diana Wardlow, of Tupelo, Miss.; her brothers, Louis Fish of Mabelvale, Ark., Gerald Fish of Pine Bluff, Ark. and a number of nieces and nephews. Ruth was a kind hearted, gentle woman who loved her family and friends and will be deeply missed. She was an astute businesswoman for many years working with Brown Packing Company. Ruth was a woman of devoted faith always involved in First Baptist Church and Sunday School activities. A family burial service will be held at Forest Hills Memorial Park. The celebration of Ruth's life Memorial Service will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at Parkway Village Chapel, 14300 Chenal Parkway, Little, Rock, Ark. 72211. A visitation and gathering of family and friends will take place from 1 p.m. – 2 p.m., Friday, April 29, 2016 at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, Ark. 72211, (501) 224-8300.
