Benny F. Parker

Benny F. Parker, age 81, of Jacksonville passed away on August 2, 2016. He was born August 24, 1934 in Floral, Arkansas to the late Robert Alexander Parker and Ethel Ellen Parker. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his siblings, Henry Parker, Victoria Brumley, Syble Warren, James Parker, Cypret McNatton Parker, Lucille Grimes, his infant son and his daughter Barbara Carol Parker. Mr. Parker was a faithful member of Jacksonville Church of the Nazarene and a US Navy veteran. He is survived by his daughter Benita Kay Parker Jones and her husband Keith, one sister Ethel Mae Driskill, two grandchildren Michael Keith Jones and his wife Amanda, Bethany Jones and one great-grandson Aaron Joseph Jones. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday, August 5, 2016 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, August 6, 2016 at Jacksonville Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Greg Armstrong officiating. Interment will follow in Vilonia Cemetery.
