Jewel Reba Glaze

Jewel Reba (Soles) Glaze, 98, died Tuesday. Born April 14, 1918 in Pangburn a daughter of the late Edward and Cora (Sloates) Soles. Mrs. Glaze was a long-time member of the New Bethel General Baptist Church. Survivors: son, Randy Glaze (Rita) and Phyllis Byrd (Jimmy) all of Bald Knob; grandchildren, Michele Pearson (Rodney), Yvette Glaze, Bobby Glaze Jr. (Melanie), Joann Baldwin (Dennis), Misty Goss (Scott), Melissa Way (Mark) and Teresa Fortune (Gerald); 21 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Earl Roy Glaze; children, Doris Byers, Bobby Glaze, Curtis Glaze and Janis Wright; grandson, Jerry Byers. Visitation: Thursday, 6-8 p.m. Services: Friday, August 5, 2016 at 10 a.m., Powell Funeral Chapel.
