Rose Mary Mays

Rose Mary Mays, age 77, of Jacksonville passed away on Thursday, August 4, 2016. She was born January 18, 1939 in Huntington, West Virginia to the late James and Mae Collins. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband James JT Mays, her granddaughter Dawn Mays, her siblings, Charles, James, Billy Joe Collins and Virginia Proffitt. She enjoyed spending time with her family crocheting and playing games. She is survived by her son Robert Mays and his wife Shannon, siblings, Thurman Collins and his wife Ilene, Larry Collins, Sonny Collins, her sister, Patricia Bratton, grandchildren; Veronica Richardson and her husband Jacob, James Mays, Alexis Mays, great-grandchildren, Violet and Christian Richardson, numerous nieces and nephews and many friends at the Jacksonville Senior Center. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Saturday, August 6, 2016 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home.
