Paula Steward Sears, 62, of Redfield, died Sunday, August 7, 2016 in Little Rock. She was born April 23, 1954 in Hot Springs, daughter of Joe and Pauline Moudy Steward. Paula was reared and received her early education in White Hall, graduating from White Hall High School. She attended Henderson State University in Arkadelphia. She worked for Entergy (formerly known as Arkansas Power and Light) for over 35 years, where she enjoyed organizing activities for coworkers and their families. Paula had a loving, happy personality. She never met a stranger. Paula loved animals, especially her dogs and enjoyed gardening. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include two children whom she raised, Captain Ronnie Sears, United States Air Force, of Omaha, Nebraska and Jason Sears of Little Rock; best friend and caregiver, Patricia Hulett of White Hall; brother, Garry (Flo) Steward of Hot Springs; three grandchildren, Riley, Ava and Soriah Sears; and dog, Prissy. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m., Thursday, August 11, 2016 in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son with Reverend James Watson officiating. Burial will be private. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 5-7 p.m. at Robinson's. Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Jefferson County, P.O. Box 2233, Pine Bluff, Arkansas 71613.
