Elaine Anderson

Elaine D. Anderson, 88, of North Little Rock passed away Tuesday, August 9, 2016. She was born October 15, 1927 in Enid, Oklahoma to Thomas N. and Beatrice Denker. She was a long time member of the First Christian Church, and a member of ABWA (America Business Women Association). She was a Cytotechnologist at UAMS until retirement. She is survived by her son, Tom Anderson (Catherine McKinnon); granddaughter, Ashley Alderman (Jeff); grandsons William Owens (Tonia) and Brian Owens (Laura); great-grandsons, Charlie and Bennett Owens; son-in-law, Ronald Owens; brother, Tom Denker; and her sister, Janice Walker. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Barbara Owens; and her husband, Rev. Howard Anderson. Memorials may be made to the Food Pantry at First Christian Church of Sherwood, 2803 E. Kiehl Ave., Sherwood, Ark. 72120. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m., Saturday, August 13th at First Christian Church. Burial will be in Rest Hills Memorial Park.
