Curtis George Caddy

Curtis George Caddy, age 93, of Leola passed away Thursday, Aug. 11, 2016 at Alcoa Pines Health and Rehabilitation in Benton. He was born Jan. 31, 1923 in Jefferson County, but was raised in Tulip in Dallas County. Mr. Caddy is preceded in death by his parents, Best C. Caddy and Edna Perser Caddy; sisters, Linnie Puckett, Dessie Prince, and Mavis Peeler; brother, Roy Caddy; daughter, Georgia Walker; grandson, Robert Walker; sister-in-law, Charlette Bobo; and brother-in-law, Henry "Frog" Tackett. Left to cherish his memory, wife, Dorothy Caddy of Leola; sons, Marty Dockery and wife, Christy of Leola and John Frank and wife, Sue of Hot Springs; daughters-in-law, Pauline and Jane; brothers, Leo Caddy of Leola and David Caddy of Malvern; sisters, Murlene Faulkner of Illinois and Adeline Puckett of Missouri; and grandchildren, Katie, Terrie, Trisha, Cortney, Connie, Trish, Sid, Christopher, Mike, Sandra, Janey, Steve, Cheryl, Paula, Larissa, Amanda, Ryan, Sean, and Bridget. Funeral services are 10 a.m., Monday, Aug. 15, 2016 at Buie Funeral Home in Sheridan. Services will conclude at the funeral home.
