Gene Kirkman

Gene Kirkman, 74, passed away Sunday. Survivors are his wife of 56 years, Gelene; sons, Jeffrey (Terrie) Kirkman of Carlisle and Bradley Kirkman of White Hall; daughters, Melanie (Mark) Hoffpauir of Benton and Gala (Bryan) Kizzire of Stuttgart; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Funeral is 3 p.m. Wednesday with visitation at 2 p.m. at New Salem Baptist Church in Casscoe. Burial will follow in Marsh Cemetery by Turpin Funeral Home. www.turpin-co.com.
