Joseph Bert Gaskins Jr., 59, of Beebe, Arkansas, passed away on Saturday, August 13, 2016, at UAMS, in Little Rock. Joseph was born on July 29, 1957, in Fort Myers, Florida, to Joseph Bert and Sue Ann Geiger Gaskins. Joseph is preceded in death by his parents; stepmother, Patricia Gaskins; grandson, Joseph Ray Gaskins J. Survivors include, wife, Jacque Penn Gaskins, of the home; son, Joseph Ray (Stephanie) Gaskins, of Austin, Arkansas; daughters, Jennifer (Bobby) Moore, of Jacksonville, Arkansas, and Anna (Mark) Bailey, of Beebe; brother, Brian (Eva) Gaskins, of Violet Hill, Jeff (Joni) Gaskins, of Glencoe, and Rob (Sue) Gaskins, of Navarre, Florida; sisters, Lisa (Loren) Rogers, of Imboden, and Joanna (Tracy) Riddle, of Cabot; grandchildren, Gage, Axton, Jordan, and Kaylee; father-in-law, Frankie Penn, of Pocahontas; mother-in-law, Patsy Penn, of Pocahontas. Visitation and funeral service will both be held at the Fears Family Funeral Home, on Tuesday, August 16, 2016. Visitation will be from 1-3 p.m. A funeral service will immediately follow, beginning at 3 p.m.; Mike Douglas, officiating. Burial will follow in the Chesser Cemetery. Honored to serve as pallbearers are Chris Fason, Jason Belote, Matt Lea, Nathan Jackson, Waylon Rogers, Joey Gaskins, Les Johnson, and Brandon Penn. Honorary pallbearers: Chance Jackson and Spencer Jackson. A special memorial service will be held at the Beebe Church of Christ, on Saturday, August 20, 2016, from 5-6:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to assist in lung transplant research at the Barnes-Jewish Hospital, and Washington University, St. Louis, Missouri.
