Chester Archie Lane Jr.

Chester A. Lane (Coach Lane) of Sweet Home, Ark. made his final road trip on Sunday, August 14, 2016. He journeyed to heaven to join his beloved wife, Janet Nacola Lane and granddaughter, Stephanie N. Broadnax who preceded him to heaven. He is survived by his daughter, Felecia (Albert) Anderson of Sherwood, Ark.; granddaughter, Shiree (Terrance) Griffin of Huntsville, Ala; and sister-in-law, Bonnie Gates Clack of Dallas, Texas. Chester worked in Pulaski County Special School District for over 20 years. He coached basketball at Arkansas Baptist College and briefly at Shorter College. Services will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, August 20, 2016, at Greater Zion Hill Baptist Church, 7512 Hwy. 365 South, Sweet Home, Ark. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made to the Chester & Janet Lane Education Foundation. The family will be at #2 Creekridge Circle, Sherwood, Ark. Visit their Facebook page.
