Dorothy Mae Brown, 76, of Chicago, Illinois transition on Friday, August 12, 2016 at Baptist Hospital, NLR, Arkansas. Dorothy was preceded in death by her father Willie Brown Sr.; mother, Alberta Bone Brown Boca; brother, Willie Brown, Jr.; and sister, Evelyn Lois Tyson. She is survived by her siblings, three sisters, Juanita Hodges (Colonel) of Madison, Arkansas, Gloria Jean Mays of Cahokia, Illinois, and Shirley Marie Maxiell (James) of Sherwood, Arkansas; brother, Leodis Brown of Little Rock; and a devoted sister/cousin, Florice Bradford and a host of family members and friends. She was a devoted sister, a very caring and thoughtful friend, and aunt that were loved by all. Viewing will be from 9: a.m. to 6 p.m., Friday, August 19th at Smith – North Little Rock Funeral Home. Homegoing services will be 10 a.m., Saturday, August 20th at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, 1017 Ray Road, Jacksonville, Arkansas. Burial will be in Arkansas Memorial Gardens.
