Teresa "Moomaw" Gilbert, (63), of Bauxite unexpectedly left her earthly world Tuesday night August 16, 2016. She was born and raised in Memphis but has been a significant part of the Bauxite School District for over 20 years. Her crafty talents included scrapbooking, art, cooking, and baking. These are just a few things that will be missed in the daily lives of her loved ones. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvis and Alline Lassiter of Memphis. Teresa is survived by her husband, Frank Gilbert; brother, Mike Lassiter; sons, Shannon, Sean, and Shane; and four amazing grandchildren. She is greatly missed but her presence will forever remain in the hearts of her many family and friends. Services will be held at Ashby Funeral Home in Benton, Ark. on Friday, August 19th at 2 p.m. Graveside services will be held at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens in Bartlett, Tenn. on Saturday, August 20th at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be sent in her loving memory to UAMS Winthrop P.
