Julia Ann Baird

Julia Ann Baird, age 76, of Fayetteville, died Thursday, August 18, 2016. She was born April 2, 1940 in Fayetteville, the daughter of Merlin Martin and Una Hazel Duncan Layer. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Baird. She was a retired employee of Baldwin Piano Company and a member of Mount Comfort Church of Christ in Fayetteville. She is survived by two sons, Richard H. Baird, Jr. and Teresa of Bentonville and David G. Baird and Sharon of Carthage, Missouri; a daughter, Samantha A. Cunningham and Jeff of Lincoln, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Richard Baird III and Andrea, Stephan Baird and Tiffany, Sierra Dominguez and Mark, Dakota Baird and Tiffney and Laken Baird. Eight great-grandchildren, Chase, Khai, Daylon, Aleisha, Asher, Celisse, Ellyn and Edyn. Visitation will be held 3 p.m. – 5 p.m., Sunday, August 21, 2016 at Moore's Chapel. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, August 22, 2016 at Mount Comfort Church of Christ followed by burial at Fairview Memorial Gardens, under the direction of Moore's Chapel.
