Donald Lee Teague Sr.

Donald Teague Sr., age 83 of Caney, died Saturday, August 20, 2016 peacefully at his home. He was born March 23, 1933 to Elmer Lee and Ruby Mae Morris Teague and was a retired Reynolds Metals employee and a cattle rancher. He was preceded in death by his parents and first wife Clara Elizabeth Rookard Teague, one brother, Billy Joe Teague, one sister-in-law, Louise Rookard Teague, and one granddaughter, Brittany Teague. He is survived by his second wife, Lorene Arnold Teague, one daughter Debbie Luckett (Bill) of Caney, two sons, Donald Teague Jr. (Tania) of Caney and Rex Teague (Laura) of Paris, Ark., one step-son, Mike Arnold (Shannon) of Shiloh, and one step daughter Sherry Harder (Norman) of Herford, Texas, three nieces and one nephew, 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 23 in the Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Chapel in Arkadelphia with Brother Sam Nelson and Brother Jeremy Bell officiating. Burial will be in the Morning Star Cemetery in Hot Springs. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Bobby Bittinger, Andy Bittinger, Alex Teague, Jack Teague, Ben Porterfield and Eric Porter. Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Dorman and staff and Hospice of Central Arkansas.
