Iva Jan Flatt

Iva "Jan" Flatt, 72, of Gentry, Ark., died August 21, 2016, at Ozark Community Hospital, Gravette, Ark. Born June 2, 1944, in Fayetteville, Ark., she was the daughter of Thomas Franklin Kennedy and Bertha Rae (Carpenter) Kennedy. Jan and Boyed Eugene Flatt were married July 18, 1967. She was a member of Eastern Star and Siloam Springs Church of Latter Day Saints. Jan was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and one son. Survivors include her sons Thomas Flatt and wife Linda of Siloam Springs, Ark., Travis Flatt and wife Chrissy of Gentry, Ark., and Tobey Flatt of Gentry, Ark.; 13 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brothers David Kennedy of Decatur, Ark., and Keith Kennedy of Decatur, Ark. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Saturday, August 27, 2016, at Wasson Memorial Chapel, Siloam Springs, Ark. Burial will follow at Springtown Cemetery, Springtown, Ark.
