Darrell James Young

Darrell James Young, age 64, of Bentonville, passed away August 18, 2016, at Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville. He was born in Greensboro, N.C., on April 28, 1952, to James Hubert and Jo Ann (Segers) Young. Darrell attended Northeast Louisiana University and was a member of the Church of Christ. He enjoyed gardening, birds, and motorcycles, and was musically talented. Though he was blind, he was able to experience the beauty of the world in touch, smell, taste and sound. Survivors include his mother, Jo Ann Young; sister, Deborah Young; brother, Tim Young and wife Heather, all of Bentonville; nieces and nephews, Jeffery Jolley and wife Kay, Kelsie McGuire and husband Rob, Aaron Young; great niece, Evalynn, and great nephew, James. He was preceded in death by his father, James Hubert Young; twin brother, Harrell Glenn Young; and wife, Ingrid Young. Darrell's life will be celebrated at 2 p.m. on Friday, August 26, 2016, in the Callison-Lough Funeral Home Chapel in Bentonville.
