Deborah A. Begina

Deborah A. Begina, 48, of North Richland Hills, Texas, beloved wife, selfless mother, loving aunt, amazing cook, and best friend passed away Friday, Aug. 12, 2016. Debbie was born in Chicago, Ill., June 5, 1968 to Geraldine Calderone then adopted after birth by Billy and Maria Janes. She was a devoted family oriented Christian who loved being a mother, bowling, crafts, technical tinkering, and cooking. She relished being the holiday meal host only to be surpassed by her administrative responsibilities for a family owned business. Her infectious smile, frisky grin, and loud spirited laugh left no room to doubt her life cup was full. Debbie was a 16 year thyroid cancer survivor before being diagnosed with ALS in June of 2015. Her battle with ALS is over as she receives her new body that is pain, sickness, and suffer free. Debbie Begina is preceded in death by her adoptive mother, Maria Janes; uncle, Jimmy Carrol Reynolds; and aunt, Phyllis Kennedy. Survivors: her husband, Brian; son, Robert; daughter, Megan, all of North Richland Hills, Texas; father, Billy; brother, Patrick, both of Hurst, Texas; uncles, Bobby Reynolds (Julia) of Little Rock, Arkansas, Joe Reynolds (Peggy) of North Little Rock, Arkansas, Ben Reynolds (Barbara) of Maplevale, Arkansas, Larry Reynolds (Margaret) and Roy Reynolds (Kathy) of Bryant, Rick Reynolds (Debbie) of Benton; aunt, Brenda Clark of Hurst, Texas; and family in Arizona, Chicago, Arkansas, Texas, Alabama, Georgia, and Greece. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, August 27, 2016, at the Harris Chapel with Bro. James Mullins officiating. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton. Visitation will be 6 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bethel Baptist building fund at 900 E. Drilling St., Morrilton, Arkansas 72110.
