Donald Brown

Donald Brown, 80, of Arkansas City, Ark. passed away, Sunday, August 21, 2016. He was born on October 14, 1935 in Sunnyside, Arkansas to the late William E. and Ollie Beatrice Marlar Brown. Donald lived in Desha County most of his life. He enjoyed fishing and gardening. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Rita Capps Brown; son, Tommy Dale Brown, and eleven siblings. Survivors include his sons, Roland Brown of Arkansas City, Ark. and Donald Eugene Brown and his wife, Christy of Diamond Head, Miss.; sister, Dorothy Riley of McGehee, Ark.; grandchildren, Felisha Brown, Crystal Brown, Tommy Brown, Jason Whitehead, and William Adcock; and three great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held 1-2 p.m., Thursday, August 25, 2016 at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service in McGehee, Ark. Funeral Services will follow at 2 p.m. Thursday, August 25, 2016 at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service in McGehee, Ark. with Rev. Gene Gregory officiating.
