Thomas Franklin Newman

THOMAS FRANKLIN NEWMAN, age, 77, of Sherwood passed away on Friday, August 26, 2016. He was born October 4, 1938 in St. Louis, Mo., to the late Thomas F. Newman and Mayme Womack Newman. Mr. Newman was a US Army Reserve veteran, and later worked as a boiler operator and maintenance mechanic. He enjoyed hunting, farming and spending time with his animals. He is survived by his sons, Michael Newman and his wife Susan, Travis Newman and his wife Laura, two brothers, James Newman and his wife Coleen, Charles Newman, and two grandchildren Logan and Charlie. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Sherwood Animal Shelter 6500 North Hills Blvd, North Little Rock, Ark. 72116. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
