Ida Lee Paladino

Ida Lee Paladino was born October 14, 1932 in De Valls Bluff, Ark. to the late Steve and Ida (Deutsch) Kirkemier. She passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2016 in Little Rock, Ark. She is survived by her daughter, Shelley Dent (Scott) of Little Rock and her step-daughter, Johnnie Marie Mulligan (Jay) of Las Vegas, Nev. Survivors also include her grandchildren Ashley Dent Brown, Brandon Dent, Carmen Dent and a step-granddaughter Tracy Smith as well as great grandchildren Aaron Dent, Tristan Brown, Rosalyn Brown and step-great granddaughter Amber Smith. She is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years John Paladino, her parents, three brothers, four sisters, and step-grandson, Brett Pennington. Ida was a wonderful role model who had very high principles with deep religious faith and was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church. She worked for 44 years as a RN at St. Vincent Infirmary in Little Rock and was the Director of the GI Lab when she retired. Traveling with her family to the beach was one of her most favorite things to do. She also enjoyed fishing, playing cards, and having dinner with friends. The visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 31, at 6 p.m. with a rosary following at 7:00 pm. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 1, at 1:30 p.m. All services will be held at Griffin Leggett Healey and Roth Funeral Home, 5800 W 12th St in Little Rock.
