Jo Lynn (Spencer) Solomon of Rogers, Arkansas passed from this life at the age of 58 on the 26th of August, 2016. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, a true friend and companion to everyone she met. Jo was born on July 8th, 1958 in Lake Charles, Louisiana to Earl Wesley and Sarah Jo (Gibbs) Spencer. She is survived by her Husband, David Solomon, daughters, Erin Forester and Emily Solomon, her three sons David, Andrew, and Richard Solomon, and four grandchildren. She is also survived by three sisters, Sally Davidson, Jenny McDaniel, and Patty Glenn. Jo attended McNeese State University in Lake Charles, Louisiana where she was a member of the Alpha Delta Pi Sorority and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Foreign Language Education in French and Spanish. She was head of the Foreign Language Department for DeRidder High School in DeRidder, Louisiana. She was the President of Northwest Overhead Door Company in Rogers, Arkansas and later the Office Administrator for the First Tee of Northwest Arkansas. Jo Lynn was a longtime member of Central United Methodist Church. Jo never met a stranger, only friends she didn't know yet. The celebration of Jo Lynn's life will be held in the Chapel at Central United Methodist Church in Rogers, Arkansas on Friday the 2nd of September at 11 a.m. In lieu flowers or plants, please make a donation to the American Liver Foundation or American Diabetes Association.
