Eugene Holmes

Eugene "Gene" Holmes, 66, of Portland, died November 24, at his home with his family and friends. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Georgia Holmes of Portland; two sons, Fredrick Eugene of Harrison and Adrian LaRon of White Hall; two daughters, Tarsha Marie Averett of Arlington, Texas and Adriana Brianna Webster of Maumelle; two sisters, Cora Jane Metcalf of Little Rock and Lillie Mae Holmes of Milwaukee, Wis; six brothers, George Jr., Ricky, and Samuel Holmes of Wilwaukee, Wis., Alfred and Eric Holmes of Portland, and Ray Lee Holmes of Montrose; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral Service will be at 12 noon Saturday, December 3, 2016. at Union Baptist Church, Parkdale, Ark.; Rev. Jessie Knight, Pastor, Rev. Kentrell Woods officiating.
