William Drake Jr.

William Drake Jr., 89, of Bella Vista, Arkansas died December 3, 2016. He was born on November 16, 1927 in Highland Park, Illinois to William Drake, Sr. and Edith Winter Drake. He worked as the regional Economist for the Missouri River Division, US Army Corps of Engineers in Omaha, Nebraska for over 20 years. He enjoyed playing tuba in numerous bands, fishing with his family and playing bridge with his wife and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan Drake; parents; brother, Francis Drake; sisters, Ruth Kightly, Esther Strub, and Sylvia Lindskog; and son, Richard Drake. He is survived by his son, Brian Drake (Annie) of Altus, Oklahoma; daughters Cindy Lidgett (Dan) of Council Bluffs, Iowa; Ruth Welch (Mike) of Ft. Worth, Texas; son, Bruce Drake of Affton, Missouri; grandchildren, Alex, Jon, Abby, Bec, Michael, Matthew, Mia and Malena.
