Arley Rabey Jr.

Arley Rabey Jr., 89, of Bald Knob, passed away December 4, 2016. He was born to Arley and Sarah Rabey, Sr. on January 31, 1927 in Selma, Arkansas. He was a Shriner 32nd degree member of the Masonic Lodge. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Lucy; his son, Kenneth; his granddaughter, Christina; and his sisters, Sybil Akins and Nellie Harris. He is survived by his children, Mary (Emmett Sr.) Chastain of Bald Knob, Ark., and Shirley (Gary) Smith of Tombstone, Ariz.; grandchildren, Emmett Chastain Jr., Mary Louise Butler, Kenneth Chastain, Christine Johnson, Dustin Chastain, Kathryn Carnell, Samantha Smith, and Derek Rabey; great-grandchildren, Brandy Butler, Amber Chastain, Corey Rabey, Micah Rabey, and Michael Andersen; great-great-grandson, Dalton Carnell; nephews, James Rackley and Wayne Dunn; niece, Judy Young; and extended family, Carol Carter and family. Visitation will be held at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home on Thursday, December 8, 2016 from 5-7 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills on Friday, December 9, 2016 at 10 a.m. Burial will immediately follow at Rest Hills Memorial Park.
