Freddy Lee Johnson

Freddy Lee Johnson, 71, of Conway, Ark. departed this life on Thursday, December 1, 2016. He was born July 7, 1945 to the late Rev. Odell and Ethel Johnson. He was the seventh of eight children. He is preceded in death by two brothers, Joe Dell Johnson and Archie Johnson; four sisters, Justine Johnson, Arlene Johnson, Helen Lee, & Betty Reddus. He attended Scipio A. Jones High School and after graduation,he attended Langston University in Langston, Ohio. He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife of 21 years, Nettie J. Johnson of Conway, Ark.; four children, Freddy L. Johnson Jr. of Little Rock, Ark,.; Cleon L. (Schanna) Johnson of Jacksonville, Fla.; Estelle R. Johnson of Little Rock, Ark.; & Fredia L. Johnson of Jacksonville, Fla.; one sister, Erma Porshay of North Little Rock, Ark.; one granddaughter he raised, Morgan Walker; 25 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, December 10, 2016 at Trinity Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 14208 Old Maumelle Road, Maumelle, Ark. Visitation 1-5 p.m., Friday, December 9, 2016 at the funeral home. Interment Ray Cemetery in Conway, Ark. Services entrusted to Larry G.
