Frances Marie Vest

Frances Marie Vest, 95, of Searcy passed away Tuesday, December 6th at Unity Health in Searcy. She was born October 19, 1921 to the late Jack and Lilmae Duncan in Jacksonville, Arkansas. Marie was an outstanding mom who always put her children before herself. She was a very strong, hardworking, courageous lady who never complained about anything. She lived a great life. Marie was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great-grandmother and friend who will be dearly missed. Left to cherish her memory is her three sons, Jerry L. Lang (Geneva) of Sardis, Mississippi, Robert F. Vest of Judsonia, Arkansas, and Ronald Vest (Tracy) of Kensett, Arkansas; one daughter, Joyce Schmidth (John) of Judsonia, Arkansas; two sisters, Lilmae Davis of Little Rock, and Helen Silverblatt of Florida; 11 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Thursday, December 8th at 2 p.m. at the Searcy-McEuen chapel with Bro. David Roberson officiating. Burial will follow at Kensett Cemetery.
