Perry "PJ" Johnson Jr

Perry Johnson Jr., (known as PJ by many) 70, passed away Monday, Dec. 6, 2016 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff, Ark. Johnson was born July 18, 1946 to the late Perry and Cleo Johnson, Sr., in Tarry, Ark. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from AM&N College. Johnson was the owner/operator of PJ's Night Club in Pine Bluff, Ark., for 38 years. PJ is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Sandra; daughters Tinia Johnson, Tiffany Johnson, Tammy Johnson, Tiny Johnson, Shayla Moore & Trinia Surratt; sons Perry Johnson III, Oscric Johnson, Kenneth Johnson, Eric Nichols, Derrick Billups & Stacy Rodgers; one brother, Joe Arrington and one sister, Gwendolyn Dickson; a host of grandchildren, other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Dec. 15, 2016 at 11 a.m. at New St. Hurricane Baptist Church at 3319 S. Ohio St. in Pine Bluff, Ark. Private burial.
