Elder Lethell Davis, 69, of Malvern passed away December 7, 2016, he was born June 9, 1947 in Malvern Arkansas to the late Ray and Ruthie Davis. Elder Davis was a long time member of the Calvary COGIC Malvern and a National Adjutant Overseer for the Church of God In Christ. Lethell retired as an officer for the Arkansas Department of Corrections. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Ray Jr. and Donnie Davis. He leaves to mourn his passing his wife of 50 years, Missionary Charlene Davis, one son Patrick Davis, two daughters Bobbie Harris and Lakeisha Davis all of Malvern, two brothers James Davis of Los Angeles and Franklin (Vanessa) Davis of Malvern, two sisters Willie Ruth Perkins of Hot Springs and Joyce (Arthur) Norman of Dallas, four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be Saturday, December 17, 2016, 12 noon at the Calvary COGIC Malvern, Bishop Robert G. Rudolph, officiating. A family gathering will be Friday from 6-8 p.m. at the church.
