Jean J. Crombie

Jean J. Crombie, age 81, of Springdale passed away Friday Dec. 16, 2016 in Springdale. She was born Nov. 1, 1935 in St. Louis, Mo., the daughter of Edward C. Jacques Sr. and Elvera F. Heuman. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Charles Gordon Crombie and a daughter Karen Erisman. She was witty, creative, and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed playing the piano, gardening, animals and professing her faith in God and Jesus. She is survived by her daughter Susan Crombie of Springdale; one brother Edward C. Jacques Jr. of Gaithersburg, Md.; one brother-in-law Terrence Crombie of Lillian, Ala.; four grandchildren Stephanie Burchfield, Benjamin Nelson, Katherine Cooksey and Anthony Erisman; three great-grandchildren; a nephew Jimmy Jacques; a niece J'ne Jacques and a grandniece Mirinda Jacques. Visitation will be 5-6 p.m. Wednesday Dec. 21 at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home with Funeral Service starting at 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital 501 St Jude Place Memphis, Tenn. 38105.
