Jimmy L. Moon

Jimmy L. Moon, 73, of Rogers, passed away December 18, 2016 in Bentonville. He was born December 21, 1942 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Frank and Katie Bilderback Moon. Jimmy was an Evangelist, truck driver and fence builder. He is preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Pamela Moon, son Scottie Eugene Moon, grandson Jimmy Joe Moon and his siblings Rila, Luther and Pete. Survived by his wife Judy of the home; sons Russell DeWayne Moon of Victoria, Texas and Tracy Keith Moon and wife Jolena of Springdale; his siblings Betty Farmer of Rogers, Texas, Joyce White of Huntsville, LaVada Stroud of Elkins, Linda Gilcrease of Goodman, Missouri and Carl Moon of Missouri; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services 1 p.m. Friday; December 23, 2016 at Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. 4th, Rogers. Interment will follow in the Burkshed Cemetery.
