Kenneth H. Nelson

Kenneth H. Nelson, age 87, went to be with his Lord December 28, 216. He is preceded in death by his mother Leta Mae Nelson; father, Gilter Roy Nelson, Sr.; late wife, June Moody Nelson; brother, Gilter Roy Nelson, Jr., Thomas Donald Nelson; sisters, Ester Louise Eubanks and Mable Sue Colclasure, and a great-granddaughter Abigail Grace Nelson. Survivors include his wife Yvonne Nelson; children, Sebrena (David) Spires, Kenneth "Ed" (Jenny) Nelson and Kimberly Nelson; sister, Doris Armstrong; four grandchildren, JoJo (Ashley) Nelson, Shana (K.P.) Page, Nelson (Jennifer) Spires and Candice (John) Poole; two great-grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends. Funeral Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, December 30th at Wattensaw Baptist Church, with visitation one hour prior to service, and burial in Wattensaw Cemetery.
