MARY LOIS CARTER, 96, of North Little Rock, Ark., went to be with her Lord and Savior on Jan. 28, 2016 after a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease. She was married to J.B. Carter from Dardanelle, Ark. for over 50 years. in the late 40's, they moved to Levy in North Little Rock where Mr. Carter established his plumbing business and Mrs. Carter worked as a Dietician at MOPAC Rain Road. Mr. and Mrs. Carter resided in Levy for years to come. They had two daughters, Joyce Linda Carter and Shirley Faye Carter. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Duvall of Morrilton, Ark.; her late husband, J.B. Carter; and all of her 11 brothers and sisters. Mrs. Carter was the last member in her family. She leaves to cherish her memory her children and grandchildren: Erica Robinson, Elisha Robinson, Emily Robinson, Ethan Honeysuckle, Jason Fields and Kelley Fields, Faith Redman, Braden Fields, Joyce and Buddy Basuce, and Shirley and Scott Fields and great-grandchildren. She was a long time member of Levy Baptist Church. She loved her family and loved family gatherings. She was a wonderful Mother and always had a smile or laugh for you. She will be deeply missed by all of her family and friends. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday morning, Feb. 2 at Levy United Methodist Church, 47th & Allen St., North Little Rock. She will be laid to rest at Edgewood Cemetery, Division St. in North Little Rock. The family wishes to express their gratitude to Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral home for the arrangements and greatly appreciates the care of Hospice Home Care and UAMS.
