Michael Anthony Shepherd

Michael Anthony Shepherd, 58, of Sheridan died Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2016. He was born Aug. 7, 1957 in Austin, Texas to John T. Shepherd and the late Jenevieve Doty Shepherd. Mr. Shepherd was a truck driver. He loved to hunt and fish and was a great father and grandfather. In addition to his mother, Mr. Shepherd was preceded in death by his grandmother, Maggalee Baggett. Mr. Shepherd is survived by his daughters; Amanda Shepherd of Cabot and Samantha Shepherd of Searcy, his significant other, Sandra Sanner of Sheridan, brother, Steve Shepherd, grandchildren; Julian Michael, Roman Macedon and Rayna Josey, nephews; Tyler and Kyle Shepherd and a host of friends. A visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2016 with memorial services beginning at 11 a.m. at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home.
