Ronnie Lee Smith

Ronnie Lee Smith, 64, of Gans, Okla. passed away Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2016 at the Sparks Regional Medical Center in Fort Smith, Ark. Ronnie was born on Feb. 5, 1951 in Springdale, Ark., a son of Paul Stephen Smith and Willie Mae Smith. He enjoyed social events and being around people and he loved his dogs. Ronnie is survived by his two brothers, Raymond E. Smith and wife Clara of Waldron, Arkansas and Robert W. Smith of Fayetteville, Ark. He is preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be held Friday, Feb. 12, 2016 at the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home in Springdale, Ark. from 9:30 a.m.-11 a.m. Committal service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 12, 2016 at the Fayetteville National Cemetery in Fayetteville, Ark. with military honors.
