Shirley Chapman

Shirley Chapman, 80, of Searcy passed away Sunday, February 7, 2015 at Unity Health in Searcy. She was born January 18, 1936 to the late Nate and Maude (Rice) Shelton in Marshall, North Carolina. Shirley loved bowling and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Kathy Shourd (Ricky) of Searcy; four brothers, Lewis, Glen, Doyle, and Rickey Shelton; two sisters, Helen Ottinger, and Phyllis Mitchell; three grandchildren, Kristian Whitsett, Sophia Shourd, and Marcus Knight; three great-grandchildren, Samuel Whitsett, Solomon Whitsett, and Bralee Barrentine. Services will be held for close friends and family. Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at Faith Assembly of God with Bro. Brandon Mize officiating.
