Mother Elsie Mae Snowden, 87, of Arkadelphia passed away on February 2, 2016 at Twin Rivers Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on August 17, 1928 to the late Benjamin J. Lawrence and John Anner Brownlee. Survivors include: one daughter, Lillie White of Arkadelphia, Ark.; two sons, Ben DeLoach (Barbara) of Memphis, Tenn. and Gary DeLoach (Rhonda) of Jacksonville, Ark.; two daughters-in-law, Michelle DeLoach of Jacksonville, Ark. and Elizabeth DeLoach of Hope, Ark.; 15 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren and a host of special cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral service will be on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Greater Pleasant Hill Baptist Church where Dr. Lewis A. Shepherd is pastor. Superintendent Ron Matheney will serve as officiant and Superintendent Leroy Williams will serve as eulogist. Visitation will be Friday, February 12, 2016 from 12 noon to 5 p.m. at Mitchell Funeral Home and family hour from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Tate Temple Church of God in Christ.
