Pat Miller

Pat Miller, 78, of Springdale, died Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at Circle of Life Hospice. She was born June 3, 1937 in San Bernardino, California to John and Zena (Allen) Nichols. Pat was devoted to the care of her family. She was a longtime member of the Baptist Church where she sang in the choir and was a church bus captain. She owned and operated the Embroidery Lady and enjoyed making wedding cakes and sewing for family members. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sharon, and two sisters and one brother. She is survived by her husband, Richard Miller; two daughters, Cheryl Thomas and husband Calvin of Springdale, Susan Straight and husband Dan of Dover; one sister, Norma Withem of Calimesa, California; five granddaughters, Jennifer, Ashley, Jessica, Caitlin, Emily; and eight great-grandchildren with two more expected. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 13, at Friendship Baptist Church. Family burial will be at Sonora Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Friendship Baptist Church, 17330 E. Highway 412, Springdale, Ark. 72764. Arrangements are with Heritage Funeral Home.
