Billy Bierbaum, 84, of Hamburg, died Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at his residence. Mr. Bierbaum was a native and life long resident of Hamburg. He graduated from Hamburg High School in 1949 and he was a Veteran of the United States Army. He owned and operated the Firestone Store in Hamburg for over 60 years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church. He was a charter member of the Bierbaum Deer Camp and loved hunting. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He is preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jadyn Watkins; his parents, Walter and Bertie Lee Ludlam Bierbaum and a brother, Fred Bierbaum. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Beulah Hathaway Bierbaum; a son, Terry Bierbaum, both of Hamburg; two daughters, Kim Bierbaum Watkins and husband, Claude, of Burleson, Texas and Pam Bierbaum Morris and husband, Graham, of Ruston, Louisiana; a brother, Henry Bierbaum and wife, Lucille, of Hamburg; seven grandchildren, Michelle Williams and husband, Donnie Joe, Brittney Lee Harrod and husband, Brent, Brandy Yeoman and husband, Cody, Jonathan Watkins, Spencer Morris, Trevor Morris and Anna Claire Morris; six great-grandchildren, Kylie Jo Williams, Layton Williams, Grayden Harrod, Lynlee Harrod, Walt Yeoman and Wyatt Watkins and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services are 2 p.m., Friday, February 12, 2016 at the First Baptist Church with Dr. Bobby Pennington officiating. Burial will be in the Hamburg Cemetery. Pallbearers are Rob Chapman, Kenny Bowden, Bobby Joe Witherington, Max Dyson, Jonathan Watkins, Trevor Morris, Spencer Morris and Claude Watkins. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 352, Hamburg, Ark. 71646. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Jones-Hartshorn Funeral Home of Hamburg.
