Edward Larry Reed

Edward Larry Reed, 69, of Little Rock, passed away February 5, 2016. Larry was born January 20, 1947 in St. Petersburg, Florida. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Edward L. and Dorothy Reed, and granddaughter Ariel Reed. Larry served as a Specialist in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and worked for many years as a computer programmer. One of his most loved jobs was as a Soccer Coach for three of his children and other players he treated as his own. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Pike Reed; children, Robert (Chelsea), Patrick (Shawntae), Sarah (Nolan) and Edward Larry Jr. (Trisha); grandchildren, Adam, Haley, Julia, Noah, Gabriel and Sophia; sisters, Joann Powell and Patti Shirley. He is also survived by many other friends and family. If one phrase could describe Larry, "It's 5 o'clock somewhere", is it. There's no doubt he's on a beach right now, toes in the sand, shaker of salt securely in-hand. "Just peachy." Arrangements are by Rosewood Funeral and Cremation Conway, Ark.
