Eugene "Sonny" Feagin

Eugene "Sonny" Feagin, 82, of Searcy died Tuesday, February 10. He was born June 23, 1933 in Denmark, Arkansas, the son of Leo and Rosie Jones Feagin. Sonny's greatest love was his family. He proudly served in the United States Air Force for 13 years - the happiest years of his life. Sonny is survived by his wife, Sammie Feagin; two daughters, Jeanne Ashby (Rich) and Callie Dunavin; eight grandchildren, Mandi, Marci, Tina, Chris, P. J., Casey, Kimberly, and Jodie; 14 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Glenda Howard; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, James Feagin. Visitation will be Sunday from 2-2:30 p.m. at the Downtown Judsonia Church of Christ with funeral services following at 2:30 p.m. Interment will follow the funeral services at Evergreen Cemetery in Judsonia.
