Patricia Ann Herrell

Patricia Herrell, 66, died Wednesday. She was born February 8, 1950 to the late David Eugene and Betty Frances (Harrison) Rascoe. She is survived by her daughters, Reginnia Head (Clark) of Rose Bud and Kelly Drake of Bald Knob; grandsons, Ian Christian and Tucker Head; granddaughters, Anna and Joy Drake; brother, David Rascoe (Brenda) of Pangburn; sister, Sherry Davis(Lyn) of Pangburn; as well as many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 32 years, Ray Herrell and son-in-law, Chris Drake. Pat enjoyed cooking, quilting, and making flower arrangements. Her love for flowers was so that during her time in Bald Knob she worked at Bald Knob Flower Shop crafting each arrangement with love and great detail. Pat's hobby of genealogy grew into a passion and she spent a lot of time researching the family history; her nieces and nephews, who she adored, would jokingly say "just call Aunt Pat she can tell us". She loved her family and in return was loved dearly. Visitation will be held Saturday, February 13, 2016 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel in Bald Knob. Services will begin at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Carter Cemetery in Russell. www.powellfuneralhome.net.
