Johnie Mooty Beason

Mrs. Johnie Mooty Beason, age 86, of McDonough, Georgia passed away February 11, 2016. Mrs. Beason was born in Crossett, Arkansas the daughter of the late Mildred Childers and Joe Dan Mooty. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Wendell Beason. Mrs. Beason enjoyed spending time with family and friends, playing bridge, reading, and was a life time member of the Eastern Star. Survivors are her children, David Beason (Sherry) of Magnolia, Texas and Becky Hammonds (Mike) of McDonough, Georgia; 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service for Mrs. Beason will be on Monday, February 15, 2016, 11 a.m. at Buie Funeral Home in Rison, Arkansas with visitation one hour prior to the service.
