Billie Faye Wallace Rowlett

Billie Faye Wallace Rowlett, age 86, was born November 22, 1929 in Perryville, Ark. and died on February 15, 2016 in Shreveport, La. In 1935 she and her family moved to Little Rock and in 1994 she and her husband, Vol Bryan Rowlett, moved to Shreveport. She was a member of the Church of Christ and worked as a bookkeeper and homemaker. She is survived by three children, Becky (Jay) Sims of Stonewall, La., Kathy Rowlett of Searcy, Ark. and Bryan Rowlett of Hoquiam, Wash., one sister, Margaret Smith of Clarksville, Tenn., four grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. Billie was predeceased by her husband Vol, her parents; Fay and Vestal Wallace, and siblings; Mary Nell Richardson, Van Wallace and Betty Lou House. A visitation will be held Saturday, February 20, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Ruebel Funeral Home in Little Rock, Arkansas followed by a memorial service at 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, she asked that memorials be given to her favorite charity, River City Ministry in North Little Rock.
