Leona Victoria Hern Dorey

Leona Victoria Hern Dorey, age 89, of Sheridan passed away Thursday, Feb. 18, 2016 at Sheridan Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born Sept. 10, 1926 in Heron, Mo., the daughter of the late Victor Hern and Mary Rogers Hern. Mrs. Dorey was a member of First United Methodist Church in Sheridan. She is preceded in death by her parents. Left to cherish her memory, her husband of 67 years, William E. Dorey of Sheridan and son, Leon Dorey of Gravel Ridge. Funeral services are 2 p.m., Monday, Feb. 22, 2016 at First United Methodist Church in Sheridan with Brother John Embrey officiating. Interment will follow at Lost Creek Cemetery in Sheridan.
