Barbara Rae Ruple

Barbara Rae Ruple, 81, of Fort Smith, passed away on Feb. 21, 2016 in Little Rock, Ark. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert N. Ruple and an infant daughter, Edith Ann Ruple. Barbara was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church in Fort Smith and was retired from Planters and also the Sebastian County Assessor's Office. Visitation for Mrs. Ruple will begin at 1 p.m. on Tuesday at Fentress Mortuary just prior to the funeral service which will begin at 2 p.m. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Fort Smith. Barbara is survived by her daughter, Nicole Burnett and husband, Danny of Little Rock and her son, Mark Ruple and his companion, Toni Fimpel of Mountainburg, Ark. She also has three grandchildren: Lindley Kinard and Anna Burnette, both of Little Rock and Nicholas Ruple of Mountainburg. The family would like to thank the staff at Health South Rehabilitation in Fort Smith and Arkansas Hospice in Little Rock for the wonderful care and compassion that was given to their mother.
