Alexis ‘Ali' Raeann Arguello, 21, of Hot Springs, left this life on February 19, 2016. She was born June 29, 1994 to Robert and Becky (Mullenix) Arguello. Ali is a beautiful example of a life well lived. She knew what was important to her and was focused on those things…loving the Lord and living to honor Him; sharing joy and love with family and friends; and developing the gifts God had given her. She grew up in Hot Springs where she attended Second Baptist Christian School (later Crossgate Christian Academy) and Lakeside Junior High and High School. Ali was always diligent in her studies and was an excellent student. At Second Baptist and Crossgate, Ali was consistently recognized on Honor Roll and received numerous Christian Spirit Awards. At Lakeside, she was on the Volleyball team, named consistently to the Honor Roll, a member of Lakeside Chamber Singers and Senior Homecoming Maid and she was a Hot Springs Debutante. For a number of years, Ali appeared with her family on the Music Mountain Jamboree Show. She loved that experience and often spoke fondly of the memories she made during those years. Ali and her family were very active at the River of Life Church where Ali was a vocalist on the Praise and Worship Team, often worked in the nursery and loved worshipping with her church family. Ali was a student at the University of Arkansas, Walton College of Business, in Fayetteville. She was honored to have received several college scholarships including the Silas Hunt Scholarship. She was one of seven recipients nationwide in 2015 to receive the Network of Executive Women scholarship. Following her Junior Year, Ali served as an intern in customer services and logistics at the Kraft Food Group. She was completing her studies to receive her degree in Supply Chain Management in May. She was active in several campus organizations including Chi Omega sorority, Students of Retailing Excellence, Women Impacting Supply Chain Excellence and the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals and was named to both the Dean's List and the Chancellor's List. While attending the University of Arkansas, Ali was in church at Abundant Life Church in Farmington where her uncle, Lance Arguello, is pastor. Ali worked in the nursery and any other area where she was asked to serve. She was truly loved by her Abundant Life family. In addition to her family and special friends, Ali especially loved her dog, Scout; baby Jaxon; family hiking trips, and her Chi-O sisters. Ali had received several job interviews and job offers over the last few months. She had interviews with Kraft – Heinz, Nestle, Proctor Gamble, Kimberly Clark and General Mills. She was excited about a bright future in the big city…she had accepted a full-time job with General Mills in Cincinnati where she was scheduled to begin an exciting career this summer. God's Word says ‘He shall give His angels charge over you to keep you in all your ways. In their hands they shall bear you up, lest you dash your foot against a stone.' We do not doubt God's promise that Ali never experienced anything, but His angels were there to ‘bear her up' so she could instantly experience comfort in His presence. Ali has been reunited with her grandfather, Philip ‘Pop' Arguello. Left here to cherish her memory are her parents, Robert and Becky Arguello; brother, Duran Crone; grandparents, Alta Mullenix, Joyce Arguello, and Ted and Julie Mullenix; aunts and uncles, Eddie and Robin Livingston; Pam Mullenix; and Lance and Angelia Arguello; and a host of loved ones and friends. A visitation will be held Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home. A funeral service celebrating her life will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at River of Life Church with Pastor Ben Wiles officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Blake and Cody Livingston, Derek and Kade Arguello, Austin Grinder and Jonathan Wiles. Honorary Pallbearers will be Adrian Hale and Jaxon Livingston. Gifts in memory of Ali may be made to ‘All Created Equal' (ACE), account at Simmons First Bank in Hot Springs, or ‘Ali Arguello Walton School of Business Scholarship Fund,' UA Walton School of Business in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
